Also known as Oxandrin, this drug is considered by athletes and bodybuilders to be a good anabolic compound for promoting strength and quality muscle mass gains. This mild anabolic compound, with low androgenic activity is a derivative of Dihydrotestosterone and does not aromatize. This anabolic androgenic steroid is commonly used by bodybuilders and others in a cutting cycle when water retention is a concern and is very effective to help them lose body fat and weight over a period of time in a safe, effective and nearly permanent manner. Anavar causes the lowest sulfobromophthalein retention when compared with results from Methyltestosterone, Norethandrolone, Fluoxymesterone, and methAndriol.
It may also be used to offset the protein catabolism associated with prolonged administration of corticosteroids and even to help patients who are unable to gain weight without definite pathophysiologic reasons. Anavar is even used for treating cases of osteoporosis or for offering relief to patients suffering with health complications such as osteoporosis (in women), HIV/AIDS related wasting syndrome, healing wounds and burns. It is also employed during adjunctive therapy after weight loss following extensive surgery, chronic infections and severe trauma.
Anavar can be detected over a period of three to four weeks and has an active life of eight to twelve hours. Concentrations of this drug tend to fall 73 percent between the 10-18 hour mark and this kind of a drop in an 8-hour window is enough to suggest a rapid metabolism of Oxandrolone. This indicates that at least two oral dosages of this steroid would be required per day if a user wants to keep relatively steady blood concentrations over a period of 24 hours.
The recommended dose of Anavar for men is 15-25mg per day and the steroid may be stacked with Primobolan and Winstrol to elicit a more refined and harder look without adding water retention. This steroid can even be stacked with Proviron, Halotestin and Trenbolone and such a cycle is useful to dramatically enhance the physique as androgen helps to harden up the muscles and stimulate fat reduction.
This steroid may even be stacked during a bulking cycle with Dianabol and Testosterone to gain additional strength and quality look to the androgen bulk.
