When compared to Testosterone, it’s conversion to estrogen is minimal. Initially, Nandrolone and Testosterone were the only affordable and widely available injectable steroids for bodybuilders. Then there was no estrogen control. That is why the low aromatization of Deca was very useful, from there comes it’s great popularity.
Another benefit of Deca Durabolin is that it’s side effects on the skin and scalp are mild, since the action of the 5-alpha enzyme reduces the potency of Nandrolone, while other anabolic steroids are not affected by this enzyme.
As for Testosterone, it’s potency is accentuated. In addition, in many cases the use of Deca in a steroid cycle can help athletes suffering from joint problems.
Doses of only 100 mg per week may be more than enough. Unfortunately, when the doses of Deca Durabolin are between 200-400 mg per week or when taken alone at any effective dose, the drug causes adverse side effects such as interference with the recovery of the natural production of Testosterone after a steroid cycle, in addition to decreasing erectile function and libido or causing depression.

These effects are aggravated if Deca is not combined with Testosterone or with important doses of a more androgenic compound such as Trenbolone, Masteron or Dianabol.
Individual reactions are varied when it comes to libido and erectile function. I do not advise the use of Deca Durabolin unless the athlete seeks relief from the joints with this steroid and knows the consequences of adverse side effects.
The use of Deca is effective for joint problems, but the bulk of the total dose of steroids comes from other steroids.
The long half life of this steroid entails a slow elimination. So the Durabolin Deca is not suitable for short steroid cycles or the possibility of anti-doping tests.
It is also not recommended for women because of the virilization effect per milligram, as with most anabolic steroids except Testosterone, and because of it’s slow elimination in the case of having adverse effects.

Winstrol – Stanozolol is a very commonly used anabolic steroid for cutting cycles.
While many people will attempt to use Dianabol or even Anadrol for cutting cycles, I’ve really never heard of anyone using Stanozolol for anything except a cutting cycle.
It’s a bit of a one trick pony in this respect. Let me repeat that: Stanozolol is a cutting drug. Not many people will argue for its use in a bulking cycle.
Its certainly not a very effective compound for treating anemia and so one could rightly assume that its role in bulking cycles is very limited.
One novel use for Winstrol in any steroid cycle (perhaps even bulking) would be to use it at a very limited dose, in order to lower SHBG.
One of the properties of Winstrol is it’s profound ability to lower SHBG more than other steroids. A dose of .2mg/kg lowered SHBG significantly, which would in turn raise the amount of free Testosterone circulating in the body.
As with 99% of steroids, it’s important to note that suppression of your natural hormonal levels will occur (though perhaps not to the extent that it will with many other steroids).
As with running virtually any compound, Testosterone supplementation (i.e. running Test in a cycle containing Winstrol) is warranted to avoid possible sexual dysfunction.
